The 21st conference on Computational Methods in Systems Biology (CMSB 2023) will take place in the period of 13 to 15 September 2023 in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg, at the Kirchberg Campus, University of Luxembourg. The aim of the CMSB conference series is to bring together researchers from across biological, mathematical, computational, and physical sciences who are interested in the study, modelling, simulation, advanced analysis, and design of biological systems. You may wish to consult previous editions of the conference.

The proceedings of CMSB 2023 will be published in the series Lecture Notes in Bioinformatics (LNCS/LNBI) by Springer Nature. The proceedings of the previous editions of CMSB are available on their website. All accepted papers are available free on Springer Nature for the duration of the conference at https://link.springer.com/book/10.1007/978-3-031-42697-1.

• 15.9.2023: The best paper award at CMSB 2023 goes to Pelin Gundogdu, Miriam Payá-Milans, María Inmaculada Álamo Álvarez, Isabel Nepomuceno, Joaquin Dopazo and Carlos Loucera for Cell-level pathway scoring comparison with a biologically constrained variational autoencoder.
• 28.7.2023: The preliminary program is published.
• 20.6.2023: The deadline for camera-ready submission is extended.
• 16.5.2023: The registration is now open.
• 17.4.2023: Due to several requests, we have decided to extend the abstract and paper submission deadline by one week.
• 10.2.2023: Four confirmed invited speakers: Jorge Goncalves, Philippe Jacques, Mirco Tribastone, and Verena Wolf.
• 11.1.2023: The programme committee has been set up.
• 9.1.2023: Serval important dates have been confirmed.
• 4.1.2023: Publication of the CMSB 2023 proceedings in the LNBI series has been confirmed.
